They come from a quieter problem. As responsibility increases, the work becomes less technical and more human — alignment, trust, judgment, commitment, cooperation. Yet the instinctive response is to add: • more systems • more process • more dashboards • more AI Human problems get treated like technical ones. What happens next is predictable: Execution speeds up, but ownership weakens. Decisions are made faster, but buy-in drops. Leaders work harder, but influence shrinks. AI doesn’t create this problem.
